      MOSSY WORLD COLLECTION

      This collection represents moss study. I tried to capture its intricacy, all the different shades and forms of moss, its soft and calming nature. For this collection I used hand dyed velvet, wool and wool felt, Czech and Japanese glass beads. I integrated preserved moss in every embroidery to make it even more organic.

      With this collection I tried to capture the beauty and softness of flowers. I integrated in my embroideries preserved flowers and plants I picked near my home and during our trips in California.

      This collection was inspired by our trip to Joshua tree National Park. For this mixed media embroidery art I used handmade cotton paper, hand dyed silk velvet and crinkled silk, DMC golden embroidery floss, Japanese glass beads and French sequins.
